Working within the Vinnies Shops network provides a you with an opportunity to experience diverse roles as well as meet some great and inspiring people.
As a volunteer, we want to give you an opportunity to contribute a unique set of skills, knowledge and experience.
Volunteers in our shops perform a wide range of tasks, based on their individual skills and experience, some tasks include:
- Sorting donated clothing and homewares
- Preparing stock of sale
- Serving customers
- Displays/merchandising
Our volunteers are the face of our Vinnies Shops, coming across people from all walks of life on a daily basis, so a warm and welcoming personality is essential.
How often would I need to volunteer?
The hours and days vary depending on personal circumstances such as study, work and family commitments, as well as the requirements of shops rosters.
You can volunteer from as little as five hours per week. Many volunteers donate their time on a very regular basis, while others volunteer when they have time.
