The St Vincent de Paul Society’s main Welfare Assistance Line supports 140+ conferences across metropolitan Melbourne.
This service receives 300+ welfare calls daily requesting assistance with material aid. Requests are relayed and responded to by our dedicated conference members within the local area.
The call centre is a necessary contact point for making the Society accessible to people in need.
Our volunteers receive and record all requests for help, relay all requests promptly to the correct conferences and respond to any queries the caller has.
This service is primarily supported by our team of dedicated volunteers who support our Conference Support area.
Assistance is available in regional and country Victoria as well as for the areas of Cranbourne, Mornington and Frankston maybe different.
This service is free and confidential.
