Vinnies Soup Vans
Our Vinnies Soup Vans are located in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
The service is resourced in the main by volunteers who manage the daily food preparation, nightly operations and delivery of food to people seeking assistance.

Our Soup Vans offer food, social connection and referral pathways out of homelessness and poverty, to people experiencing or at risk of, homelessness and disadvantage.
Our soup van services are located in metropolitan and regional Victoria and undertake street service of meals to our friends on the street and people experiencing food insecurity in boarding and rooming houses, crisis accommodations, social housing and other residential locations.
The Vinnies Soup Vans are run by dedicated volunteers, known as Vannies, who annually provide over 700,000 meals to people in need. Our soup vans operate 365 days a year, rain, hail or shine!

Vinnies Welfare Assistance
Open Monday–Friday, 10.00am–3.00pm, public holidays excluded. This service is staffed by volunteers.

Safesteps provide 24/7 specialist support services for anyone in Victoria who is experiencing or afraid of family violence.
Lifeline
Lifeline provides free, 24-hour telephone crisis support service for suicide prevention, mental health support and emotional assistance, not only via telephone but face-to-face and online.
Ask Izzy
Ask Izzy is a mobile website that connects people in need with housing, a meal, money help, health and wellbeing services, family violence support, counselling and much more.

Inner City Soup Van hub launched in Kensington. This new ‘super kitchen’ can feed 400,000 people in inner-city.
