Share your Gift

Vinnies is looking for people who...

• Anyone who has a 'gift' to share that would be interesting, engaging and/ or meaningful to people who are are experiencing homelessness (our Companions).
• Have an interest in our community.
• Can handle difficult conversations and provide meaningful support and understanding.
• Are keen to help people who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness.
• Work as a team with the direction of Vinnies Volunteers, Members or Staff. 
• Can give as many hours as you wish.

The Role:

• Work with Vinnies Volunteers, Members or Staff to create and offer an experience, event or training for our Companions.
• Get creative!
• It feels good to share your gift.
• Support will be provided by Vinnies.
• 100% discretionary - you choose the hours you work!

Locations:

• Casuarina, Holy Spirit Conference 

• Darwin City, St Mary's Conference

• Karama, Holy Family Conference

• Parap, St Paul's Conference  

Personal Protective Equipment / Clothing and Uniforms:

Vinnies ask all Volunteers wear:

• Enclosed shoes.
• Casual, conformable and appropriate clothing for the role above.
• Uniforms are not provided.
