Become a Shop Volunteer

Our shop volunteers make a huge difference for people in need, helping to raise nearly 30% of funding for our homelessness and support services in NSW. They also help the planet, helping to divert millions of items from landfill each year.

We're always on the lookout for passionate people to join our retail community of over 7,000 volunteers across the state.

By giving a bit of your time each week, you can support people experiencing disadvantage and homelessness locally. It’s also a great way to stay active in the job market, adding hands-on retail experience to your resume.

Students aged 16 and over are welcome to apply to become a volunteer with Vinnies Shops. Duke of Edinburgh students are able to apply from ages 14 and over.
