Vinnies Vans
Vinnies Vans are outreach services that provide meals and snacks, blankets, toiletries, hot beverages, and, most importantly, companionship and referrals where needed to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our Vans operate across Greater Sydney and in targeted regional areas, ensuring we reach highly at-risk communities with additional wrap-around supports.

Night Locations and Times
Operated seven nights a week.
Eastlakes Community Centre, 8/16 Florence Avenue, Eastlakes from 7:30pm to 8:00pm
Slattery Place cul-de-sac, Eastlakes from 8:30pm to 9:15pm
Maloney St from 9:30pm to 10:15pm
Operates seven nights a week:
Cul-de-sac of Kelly Close, Mount Druitt from 7:30pm to 8:00pm
Prince Alfred Park (corner of Marist Place and Victoria Road), Parramatta from 8:30pm to 9:00 pm
Mondays and Wednesdays
Warrawong Community Centre, Greene Street, Warrawong 5:30pm to 6:00pm
Wollongong Train Station, Western Side, corner Gladstone Avenue, Wollongong 6:30pm to 7:00pm
Tuesdays
Allowrie Cres, East Nowra 5:30pm to 6:00pm
Thursdays
Coniston Hub Community Lunch, 12 – 16 Miller St, Coniston 12.00pm
Fridays
Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre, 49 A Cawley Street, Bellambi 5:30 to 6:00pm
Operates weekly Tuesday to Saturday:
Liverpool Pioneers Memorial Park - Macquarie Street, Liverpool from 8:30pm to 9.00pm.
Edwin Wheeler Oval / Miller Park – Corner of Maxwells Avenue and Cartwright Ave, Sadleir: 9:15pm to 9:45pm
Operates seven nights a week and can be found at the following locations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays
Waterloo Green Housing Estates 7:00pm to 7:45pm Ward Park, Northcott Housing Estates, Surry Hills 8:00pm to 8.40pm
On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays you can find the Vinnies Van at the following locations:

Day Locations and Times
Hot Breakfast service and referral support and visit from the St Vincent's Hospital Sydney's mobile health clinic.
Prince Alfred Park, Surry Hills (Closest to Central Station) 9am – 11am.

Illawarra Homeless Coordination Services, 16 Miller St Coniston at 12.00 pm
Once a month on a Thursday
Vinnies case worker: This service provides holistic case management support, to support clients to exit homelessness into safe, affordable, and sustainable accommodation. This service also responds quickly to assist new arrivals to the inner-city to return to their communities of origin and supports individuals and families using transitional accommodation with ongoing case management.
About Us
The Metro Vinnies Van Services promote social inclusion and cohesion by providing an opportunity for people to gather in a place where they will be accepted and not judged. For many of those we assist, our volunteers and members are often the only people that they speak to all day. The people we assist are provided with a safe place to meet and build community.
Who we help
Anyone can approach Vinnies Vans when they see them out and about.
We especially encourage people who are living rough or in overcrowded or insecure accommodation to access the service. This service is delivered at no charge to people who use it.
