The Record

In this submission the Society advocates for the following actions:

• regulating the Buy Now Pay Later sector
• improving access to energy efficiency schemes
• improving access to and targeting of energy assistance programs
• regulating the telecommunications sector, particularly Wi-Fi and mobile phones plans
• developing a national food strategy to create a healthy, sustainable, equitable, and affordable food
• improving access to and tailoring of insurance schemes for households on low incomes
• funding to increase financial counsellors to help individuals and families experiencing financial stress 
• funding to increase the availability of the No Interest Loans Scheme
