How we help

The conference responds on a person-to-person basis, always in pairs when visiting people seeking assistance. Each case is different, depending on the needs of the individual, for example:

  • assistance with food
  • utility bills
  • clothing
  • education support
  • referrals to other services

Who do we support?

Anyone seeking assistance in the ACT and surrounding region (see map below).

Please call our Emergency Relief Helpline (13 18 12) if you or someone you know may be needing assistance.

The Facts

  • there has been a 15% increase of calls to our helpline requesting assistance from 2021
  • we have over 540 conference members assisting out community across the ACT and surrounds
